I don’t do many night shots these days, so I went out earlier with this in mind.  This is St. Mary & All Saints Church, reflected in the canal, taken about an hour and a half ago:

I seem to take a lot of photographs of flowers.  I am fascinated by the variety, and by the colours and textures.  Here is one that is growing at Severn Valley Railway, Kidderminster:

Off to Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and Mary Arden’s Farm today, hopefully the murky sky will become a little better.  Today’s shot took an hour to set up and two seconds to shoot – two candles against a leaded-glass window.  I call this shot “New Flames”:

Sunday afternoon, and plans for the Bank Holiday are under way.  They involve taking photographs, of course…  Here’s a “coincidental” photograph – the fly landed just as I was pressing the shutter.  Its title is “Flower or Fly?”
